    2026 – February – Paperwork; So Much

We got the sign! Last summer, one of our volunteers mentioned they had a CNC machine, and offered to make this, a 2′ tall wood panel of our logo. This month, I finally got it back, and it looks fantastic, exactly the look I was hoping for!

I’d like to say I have a lot of interesting things to post this month, but like the last few, it’s been mostly indoor work. I’ve now gotten the final plan laid out for the faire itself, with space for vendors, combat, and a few surprises. I also have been working with new partners, who will be announced in the near future.

With spring coming, we’re very excited to get back outside, and show everyone some new and cool things. For now, hunt that costume, practice your ren speak, and we’ll see you soon enough!

    2025 – August – Hydraulically Powered

This month, with the power of hydraulics, and a really solid weekend, myself and Jason cleared, widened, and flattened 1140′ of trail, making it easier to get through the land, and getting us closer to the village location.

    • 12 hours of run time
    • 1 popped off track
    • 3 days of work
    • over 28 stumps removed
    • 1140′ of trail cleared, widened, and flattened

As well, I managed to cut another 120′ of trail by hand.

With forest fire season in full swing, we pivoted to more indoors work, working on some building some games, making banners, a sign for the village, and creating some other test props.

All in all, a good month of development!
