Coming to us from a wide variety of experiences and backgrounds, our diverse cast and crew help make our event the best experience in Atlantic Canada!
More than just helpers, our volunteers are the lifeblood of the faire. Drawn from every walk of life, they bring with them a dazzling range of talents, cultures, and identities. Among them are artisans, performers, storytellers, and organizers, representing the richness of our community, including LGBTQ+ voices, people of all backgrounds, and those with unique life experiences.
Together, they don’t just run an event, they help breathe soul into Stillwater Village, shaping it into a world where everyone belongs. Their passion and authenticity ensure that every guest, no matter who they are, finds a place in the story we are weaving, with magic, acceptance, and celebration of what makes us unique.

Anyone with a positive spirit and a willingness to help bring Stillwater Village to life! Whether you’re a performer, crafter, organizer, or simply love creating magic for others, there’s a place for you here.
Do I need experience?
Not at all. We welcome all skill levels! Some roles benefit from specific experience (like acting, carpentry, or event coordination), but enthusiasm and reliability are what matter most, and we’d be happy to teach you what we can!
Do volunteers get free admission or perks?
Yes! Volunteers receive free entry to the faire on their working days, along with other perks like meals, exclusive merch, or special appreciation events (depending on hours and role).
What kinds of volunteer roles are available?
We have a wide range of opportunities, from guest services and village operations to performance, crafts, logistics, and hospitality. You can choose whether to help behind the scenes or be part of the show.
How much time do I need to commit?
It depends on the role. Some volunteers help for a single day, others join us for the entire weekend or season. We’ll match you with something that fits your schedule and comfort level.
